The St. Louis Area Dance Marathon (SLADM) relies on the generous support of local businesses and corporations. From supporting our fundraising efforts with a donation jar at your location to providing dinner for over 700 dancers, the Marketing and Sponsorship Chairs will specialize your DM partnership by tailoring it to your needs as well as our own.

SLADM is a student-run fundraiser that benefits Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis (CMN). The program is a year-long effort that culminates in a twelve-hour event November 3, 2007. Leading up to the main event, students and members of the St. Louis community participate in various activities that promote awareness and raise money for CMN. Participants individually fundraise throughout the year and celebrate their efforts at Dance Marathon by dancing, playing games, enjoying performances, and socializing with CMN’s Miracle Children and Families; the only requirement is that participants remain standing for the full 12 hours. This is an incredible opportunity for people to become involved in an upbeat, interactive, and fun event while still serving a great cause.

CMN’s founding pledge, to keep 100 percent of donations in the region in which they are raised, remains at the core of its philosophy. One hundred percent of the money raised through St. Louis Area Dance Marathon stays here in the area and is equally divided between our two outstanding pediatric institutions: St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. Every dollar raised for and by CMN of St. Louis, through the generous contributions and support of individuals, as well as local and national sponsors, helps the hospitals to acquire programs, equipment and facility renovations to meet the needs of local children. This past year the St. Louis Area Dance Marathon raised $123,452 with the help of students from Washington University, Fontbonne University, several local high schools, and other members of the St. Louis community. The dedication of the participants and the generous support of corporations and local businesses have helped make this event very successful.

Today we ask you to help us make our event even more successful by way of sponsorship. As rapidly as our event is growing, we are ready to take the St. Louis Area Dance Marathon to the next level. Our goals, however, depend upon the generous support of the community of greater St. Louis and corporations in the area. With your help, Dance Marathon can succeed in this endeavor.

Currently we are seeking corporate sponsors who are interested in supporting this event. All donations are tax-deductible, and acknowledgement of your donation will be recognized in a variety of ways depending upon your particular choice in sponsorship level. In addition to monetary donations, we are in need of in-kind donations and gift certificates for our Miracle Auction.
