For Parents
Welcome to the St. Louis Area Dance Marathon (SLADM)! Your student has made a commitment to a truly great cause. His or her experience dancing in our 12-hour dance-a-thon will be unforgettable. Standing for 12 hours is not easy, and nor is raising $150 for Children’s Miracle Network. You can support your student in these endeavors in many ways, beginning with a tax-deductible donation to CMN on his or her behalf. You can donate online or use our donation form.

SLADM also offers Survival Bags for Dancers. These kits, which include snacks and bottled drinks, will be distributed to the dancers 3/4 of the way through the 12-hour dance-a-thon. They can be purchased for only $25. To send one to your student, please visit our survival kit page.
Ask your company to support SLADM and CMN. We are in need of monetary support and in-kind donations for our silent auction and for prizes for our top fundraisers, and all donations are tax-deductible. Please visit our Sponsorship section for more information on becoming an official SLADM Sponsor.
Spread the word! We are sure your extended family and close friends would love to hear about the great work your student is doing. Direct them to www.sladm.org. Ask them to support SLADM and CMN by donating on your child’s behalf.
If you are in the St. Louis Area, stop by the dance-a-thon on November 3rd! Everyone is welcome at our event, and you will likely find the Miracle Auction of great interest. Get directions to the Athletic Complex of Washington University here.
If you are not in the St. Louis Area or are otherwise unable to attend the event in person, don’t worry! You can still see the event live on our website from 6-10pm. A link to a live webcast will appear on our homepage, www.SLADM.org, during those times.
If you have any further questions about your student’s SLADM experience, visit our Parent’s Frequently Asked Questions or contact the Executive Director, Greg Perlstein.
